Leap24 ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Job Quote Pro mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.

Your data stays on your device. Job Quote Pro is designed with a local-first approach. Your business documents, client information, and settings are stored locally on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information You Provide

The App allows you to create and manage business documents (quotations, invoices, and proforma invoices). The following information is stored locally on your device:

Company profile details (business name, address, contact information, logo)
Client names and contact details
Document content (line items, amounts, notes)
App settings and preferences (currency, colours, font size)

1.2 Device Information (Collected Automatically)

For the purpose of managing the free trial and preventing abuse, we collect a hashed device fingerprint that includes:

Android ID
Firebase Installation ID
General hardware identifiers (device model, manufacturer, brand)

This information is combined and hashed using SHA-256 before being transmitted, meaning we do not store or have access to the raw identifiers.

1.3 Contacts Permission

The App requests access to your device contacts solely to help you quickly add client information. Contact data is read on-device and is never uploaded, shared, or stored on any external server.

1.4 Information We Do NOT Collect

We do not collect analytics or usage tracking data
We do not collect location data
We do not collect advertising identifiers
We do not use crash reporting services

3. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

Google Firebase

Used for trial system management via Firebase Firestore, Firebase Installations, and Firebase App Check (Play Integrity). Firebase may collect limited technical data as described in the Firebase Privacy Policy.

Paystack

Used to process premium subscription payments. Payment information is handled entirely by Paystack and is not stored by the App. See the Paystack Privacy Policy.

Google Play Billing

Used for in-app purchases and subscription management on Google Play. See the Google Privacy Policy.

Update Checker

The App periodically checks for updates by fetching a small JSON file from our server (leap24.co.za). This request contains no personal data; only standard HTTP headers (IP address, user agent) are transmitted as part of the network request.

4. Data Storage & Security

Local storage: All business data is stored in an encrypted local database (Room/SQLite) on your device.
Biometric lock: The App supports optional biometric authentication (fingerprint/face) to protect access to your data.
Secure storage: Sensitive trial data is stored using Android's EncryptedSharedPreferences.
Network security: All network communications use HTTPS encryption.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

Your data may only leave your device in the following scenarios:

Document sharing: When you choose to share or export a PDF, the document is shared via your device's standard sharing mechanism (email, messaging, etc.) at your discretion.
Trial verification: A hashed device fingerprint is sent to Firebase Firestore to manage the free trial period.
Payments: When you purchase a premium subscription, payment details are processed by Paystack or Google Play Billing.

6. Data Retention

Local data: Remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the App.
Trial data: Hashed device fingerprints stored in Firebase are retained for the duration needed to manage the trial system.
Payment data: Managed and retained by Paystack and Google in accordance with their respective policies.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access your data — all your business data is visible within the App at any time.
Delete your data — you can delete individual documents, clients, or all data by uninstalling the App.
Revoke permissions — you can revoke the Contacts permission at any time via your device settings.
Request deletion of trial data — contact us to request removal of your hashed device fingerprint from our systems.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
